On the 40th anniversary of University of Maryland legend Len Bias’ death, WTOP’s Shawn Anderson and Anne Kramer talked to two journalists, WTOP alum Dave Statter, who broke the story of Bias’ death as a reporter for Channel 9 here in Washington, and WTOP Contributor Joe Yasharoff, who was a student at the University of Maryland when the tragedy happened.
