Alex Trebek & Larry King

WTOP Entertainment Editor Jason Fraley salutes the late Alex Trebek and Larry King, who both just posthumously won Daytime Emmy Awards for their iconic broadcasting careers. Jason spoke to King in studio at WTOP en route to being honored at the Newseum in 2015. He then spoke to Trebek at DAR Constitution Hall during a taping of “Jeopardy” in 2016. Trebek died in 2020 at age 80, while King died in 2021 at age 87. (Theme Music: Scott Buckley’s “Clarion”)
